Jacob graduated summa cum laude from Lipscomb University in Nashville, Tennessee and earned his law degree from the University of Tennessee College of Law.  Jacob is a life-long Chattanooga resident and currently lives in Ooltewah with his wife, Jessica, and their daughters, Anna-Grace and Mary-Chandler.  Jacob enjoys spending time with his family and friends, travelling, and playing golf.

Before co-founding Allen & Parker, LLC, Jacob practiced complex civil defense litigation with Chambliss, Bahner & Stophel, P.C.  While at Chambliss, Jacob’s practiced focused on defending nursing homes, hospitals and physicians against claims of abuse, neglect and professional malpractice.

In 2010, Jacob established The Parker Firm in order to represent victims of abuse, neglect and professional malpractice by nursing homes and other healthcare providers.  Jacob’s experience defending nursing homes and other healthcare providers enables him to effectively evaluate potential claims and gives his clients a competitive advantage in all phases of the dispute resolution process—including  mediation, arbitration and trial.

In 2014, Jacob co-founded Allen & Parker, LLC; a full service civil litigation and personal injury firm serving clients in Tennessee and Georgia.  With his partner, David S. Allen, Jacob continues to zealously represent victims of abuse, neglect and professional malpractice.

David graduated cum laude from law school at John Marshall University law school in Atlanta, Georgia in 1995 and earned his B.S.degree in Business Finance from the University of Tennessee – Chattanooga in 1988.  David has resided in North Georgia and Chattanooga, TN most of his life. He is married to Gina and they have two children, Madison, a freshman at UT-Knoxville and Lawson, a 2L at Wake Forest Law School. David enjoys spending time with his family and friends, riding motorcycles, bicycles and the occasional golf game.

Before co-founding Allen & Parker, LLC, in 2014, David practiced personal injury litigation with the Harriss & Hartman Law Firm, P.C. in Rossville, Ga. Mr. Allen was a partner from 2000 until 2013. While at Harriss & Hartman, David’s practiced focused on auto and motorcycle wrecks, premises liability injuries, wrongful death claims, actions against nursing homes, hospitals and physicians for claims of abuse, neglect and professional malpractice.

Before going to law school in 1991, David worked with several major insurers as a claims adjuster. This experience gave David an inside look and understanding of the claims handling process. For over 20 years, David has put the knowledge to use in representing injured parties and their love ones.

David welcomes the opportunity to review cases of wrongful death and serious injuries caused by auto accidents, motorcycle accidents, premises liability, nursing home abuse and medical malpractice.
